OFFICE OF THE WING CHAPLAIN
BOLLING AIR FORCE BASE 25, D.C.

1 June 1959

Mrs. Elaine Kilbourne
Sponsor Student Council
Anacostia High School
Sixteenth and R Streets, S.E.
Washington 20, D.C.

Dear Mrs. Kilbourne:

I wish to take this opportunity to put in writing to you and The Student Council and all other of The Anacostia High School my impressions and appreciations of the outstanding program held this past Friday morning at your school Memorial Service.

The members of the Student Council are to be congratulated on preparing and presenting a most impressive and outstanding program. The members of the student body who attended should be impressed with their excellent conduct and attention. To my knowledge this was the most attentive audience of High School pupils it has been my privilege to address. Their quietness and orderliness was overwhelming. They must have received much from the program because they gave so much of themselves.

Please convey to all those concerned my impressions and my deep gratitude for being a part of a dignified and sacred Memorial Service.

Sincerely,

LAWRENCE R. BOYLL
Chaplain, Major, USAF
Wing Chaplain
