Dr Sir,

I have commenced building in this neighborhood a church to be used as a church and school house. We have put up the building covered it in, our means have given out, and we need assisstance to complete it, and we appeal to you to come to our relief and aid us to finish the building, so that we can commence to education the vast number of children that are growing up in our midst without any education at all, and cheifly from the want of a suitable building for a school house.

The building we have commenced, is 36 x 20, framed, [[strikethrough]] It [[/strikethrough]] has been covered in floor laid doors hung and windows put in, 5 Windows 18 Lights.

To complete it will take 1150 Feet Lumber cost per hundred feet $1.50. $17.25
