Discontinuance of Transportation.

WAR DEPARTMENT,
BUREAU REFUGEES, FREEDMEN, AND ABANDONED LANDS,

CIRCULAR}
No. 2.}

After the 20th instant, no transportation in kind will be furnished by this Bureau for officers, agents, teachers, school-books, or stores.

Officers, agents, and employees of this Bureau, traveling under orders, will collect actual traveling expenses, or mileage, in accordance with existing orders and regulations.

No expense for transportation will be incurred except when absolutely necessary.
