I have the honor to ask (in addition to the [[?]] 100- heretofore appropriated,an appropriation of fifty (50) dolars in gurtherance[[?]] in-aid to the Freedmen of this place and respectfully call attention to endorsement on receipt herewith enclosed, from estimate,you will perceive much lumber actually nicepary is not named, Viz, Lumber for ceiling trupel work J C, as the house is on a bank; be it said to the cridit[[?]] of the colored people, they are active raising money by fairs, Subscriptions j c and have new amiderable money in hand; and apure you if appropriation is granted, the matter will be an entire sweep.
