Some of the stocking-pants in green in Germany; they are tough and warm and good for much walking, which I do here - - several miles a day, usually carrying heavy things. I must buy another small purse soon; yours is too big for every-day hauling
Prof. Gorodetsky received my four translated Russian articles most graciously yesterday and suggested fixing a monthly salary of about $50 for such work which would about cover what I do in that amount of time. I'll get the first amount around Christmas, which will be welcome. I typed them myself having to relearn the position of 8 letters on this French keyboard, but that was easier than I thought.
Our only projected social event is an "at home" at the American consulate next Monday night.
We heard from another Frauenfelder boy who has first arrived with a bride in Bonn, Germany, to work. He or they can visit us later. 
We shall have to think of some activities for you in this town- or maybe you'd rather rest.
I don't know offhand when your train will come in but we have the big schedule so of course will await the arrival of the 12:25 on Saturday. Love, Doris--Jack
