Dear folks, 

We are sorry to hear that Dad got sick from a combination of heat and galley proof. How long does it take to go through all that proof?

We aren't cool here, just cooler. I have the little fan in front of me racing away, making study for the final (in two parts: on Thursday & Friday) tomorrow bearable.

When we camped out at Fox Ridge we did a lot of fishing, catching in all 15 perch. Needless to say, we ate them at once. The trip was successful as far as sleeping was concerned: no mosquitoes got in and we slept very well, to be wakened by exquisite bird songs about 5-ish. We figured there were some Peewees around, but what made the best songs we did not discover. That trip was somewhat of a trial on the tent: we shall use it coming East.

About the vacation, we should like to get as definite as possible as soon as possible the date of your arrival in D.C. if we have about Aug. 29 we can have about 3 weeks. We
