Dear folks,

Sorry to hear that you had the flu - given you are well by now.  Regarding Ed's illness, we did not hear anything about it in Chicago.  We did however hear by mail yesterday that "Aunt" Tekla Wallburg died, after a short illness.  You can send consolences to

To hear you talk about the cherry blossoms--and yesterday eve had a six-inch snowfall!  The ground is still covered deeply, the sky is gray and a little more stuff is falling.  And we had just gotten the swamp drained off from the last one!

We've been out almost every evening for the past week - to Contemporary Art Festival things & movies in town which we had previously planned to see.  Best of these was "My Uncle", the Jacques Tati movie.  We saw a (free) play (all C. Art Festival events are free) one evening as well, not so good.  Harry Partch, the composer
