II The commands of the following Military Posts in the District of Ala, will comprise the counties therein named viz:
Post of Mobile - The Counties of Baldwin, Clark, Conecuh, Covington, Coffee, Dale, Henry, Mobile, Monroe and Washington.
Post of Selma - The Counties of Bibb, Choctaw, Dallas, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Jones, Marengo, Perry, Pickens, Sumpter, Shelby, Tuscaloosa, and Wilcox.
Post of Montgomery - The Counties of Autauga, Butler, Barbour, Bullock, Coosa, Clay, Crenshaw, Chambers, Elmore, Lowndes, Lee, Macon, Montgomery, Pike, Russell, Randolph, Tallapoosa, and Talladega.
Post of Huntsville - The Counties of Blount, Baine, Colbart, Cherokee, Calhoun, Cleburne, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lawrence, Limestone, Lauderdale, Morgan, Marion, Marshall, Madison, St. Clair, Walker, Winston.

III Commanding Officers of Posts will exercise a general supervision over the communities embraced within their respective commands

I Bvt Maj Gen F. Browning 1st Lt 1st Regt V.R.C. having been honorably mustered out of the service of the United States is hereby relieve from duty as Chief Q.M. of the Bureau RF and AL Dist. of Ala. and will turn over to his successor all stores pertaining to his Dept.

II 2nd Lt L.J. Whiting 45th U.S.I. is hereby announced as Chief QM Bureau RF and AL Dist. of Alabama.

He will be obeyed and respected accordingly.

I Believing in uniformity of text books to essential to proficiency in study, and system in teaching the Subject of Education has perfected an arrangement with the publishers of the following text Books, by which pupils will be supplied for introduction at twenty (20) per cent, less than the publishers wholesale prices:

Parker and Watson's National Readers, Spellers and Primers,
Monteith and McNallys Geographies,
Davies Arithmetics and Higher Mathematics,
Clarks First Lessons in Grammar,
