Capt. H.W. Stuart Comdg Co "E" 6th Ills Cavy will proceed with his command to Troy, Pike Co. Ala. for the purpose of assisting the civil authorities in administering justice in that Dist.  He will do this and confer with those authorities and render them such assistance as he may deem proper.  He will act as Special Agent of this Bureau and will on his return report concerning the condition of the Freedmen in that District
