52 No 9 Brvt Lt Col Edward Wright Paymaster U.S.A. Disturbing officer Bureau R.F. & A.L. will proceed to Mobile on business connected with this office. He will return as soon as practicable. II Capt. A.C. Haptonstall 47 Ill Vols is hereby relieved from duty as Asst Supt R.F. & A.L. at Demopolis, Ala. He will transfer all books and property pertaining to his office to Brvt Maj C.W. Pierce and after closing up his business will report to the Comdg. officer of his Regt. III Brvt Major C.W. Pierce, 1st Lt 7th Veteran Reserve Corps, having in accordance with orders from Maj Gen O.O. Howard Comsr &c reported at this office, is hereby assigned to duty as Asst Supt R.F. & A.L. at Demopolis, Ala, relieving Capt A.C. Haptonstall 47 Ill Vols. He will proceed at once to the station assigned him. The Q.M. Dept will furnish transportation. IV 1st Lt P.E. O'Connor 100 V.R.C. having in accordance with orders from Maj Gen O.O. Howard, Comsr &c. reported at this office, will proceed to Demopolis, Ala, and report to Brvt Maj C.W. Pierce Asst Supt R.F. & A.L. at that place for assignment to duty. The Q.M.
