Dist. of Alabama Montgomery Ala. January 4th 1867 Special Orders No. 1} On the recommendation of the Surgeon in Chief, it is ordered that the Freedmens Hosptl at Selma Ala, be at once put in repairs. The Q.M. of the Bureau RF & AL at that point is charged with the execution of those repairs under the direction of the Surgeon in Charge of the Hosptl, and the necessary expenditure thereunder will be settled upon presentation of the proper vouchers to the Chief Disbursing Officer of the Bureau.
