I Lieut L.J. Whiting, having been announced as Chief Q.M. of this District is relieved from duty as Sub Asst Commissioner of the Sub Dist of Montgomery, and Mr J.C. Hendrix will assume temporary charge of the same. 
II S.S. Gardner Sub Asst Commissioner Bureau R.F. and AL. Ala, will assume charge of the Sub Dist of Greenville, relieving Captain Wm H.H. Peck V.R.C. Sub Asst Commissioner who has received a leave of absence.

Alabama, will pursuant to instructions from the commissioner purchase in open market on the most advantageous terms possible and at a cost not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200.00/100) one (1) serviceable horse, for use in the Sub Dist. of Talladega.
Proper vouchers will therefore be paid on presentation to Bvt Lt. Col. Edwin Beecher, Chief Dis Officer Bureau RF and AL for this Dist

Tracy Captain 15th Infantry, during the latter absence as Judge Advocate of a General Court Martial and while on leave of absence.

I The journey made  by JC Hendrix A.S.A.C. BRF and AL, on the 26th inst. within the county of Montgomery having been on Bureau business is hereby authorized and the necessary travel expenses incurred therefore to be paid on presentation of the paper voucher to Bvt Lt Col Edwin Beecher, Dis Officer for this District
II Mr E Morgan Jr Clerk in BRF and AL, Ala, will proceed to Mobile, Ala, on Bureau business, returning as soon as practicable. The necessary travel expenses incurred thereon will be paid on presentation of the proper vouchers to Bvt Lt Col Edwin Beecher Dis Officer for this District.
