I  W.C. Arthur A.C.S. Bureau RF & A.L. Ala, will immediately proceed to inspect and report upon the condition of all corn and bacon in possession of the following Officers with recommendations as to the best method of disposing of said stores

II  2nd Lt Joseph Logan V.R.C. having been mustered out of the service of the U.S. is hereby relieved from duty as AAQM, and ACS, of the Bureau at Mobile, Ala, and will transfer all stores in his possession pertaining to those Departments to the Sub. Asst Comr. of the Bureau at Mobile, who will, in addition to his present duties, perform those of AAQM and ACS, of the Bureau in that Dist.

Special Orders No 56} Extract

I  Lieut Geo Shorkley 15th US Infty, A.A.Q.M. Bureau RF and AL, Ala, will furnish transportation to Adam Tuck (an insane freedman) and two attendants from Selma to the Insane Assylum at Tuscaloosa, Ala, and return transportation for the attendants.
II  The execution issued against the property of E.Y. Fair, on his plantation in Autauga Co., in favor of T.B. [[?Bether]], is hereby suspended until the present contract between the said Fair and the freedmen on his place shall be fulfilled.  In case any of said property has already been removed, the sheriff of Autauga County will at once return it to the plantation.

I  1st Lt. P.E. O'Connor, V.R.C. Bvt. Captain U.S.V., AAQM, Bureau R.F. and AL, Demopolis, Ala, will purchase in open market at the most advantageous terms possible fifteen (15) cords of wood for the use of the Bureau at Demopolis.
