The following named Officers are hereby appointed and assigned to duty in the state of Arkansas, as follows:

1st. Maj. W. G. SADGENT, 63d U. S. C. Infy., General Superintendent and Provost Marshal, with Head Quarters at Little Rock.

2d. Capt. S. W. MALLORY, 64th U. S. C. Infy., Supt. and Provost Marshal, Pine Bluff.

3d. Lieut. JAMES H. RAINES, 69th U. S. C. Infy., Supt. and A. A. Q. M,, Little Rock.

4th. Capt. HENRY SWEENEY, 60th U. S. C. Infy., Supt. and Provost Marshal, Eastern Ark., Hd. Quarters, Helena.

5th. Capt. W. A. STEWART, 60th U. S. C. Infy., Supt. and Provost Marshal, Arkadelphia. 

6th. Capt. LEWIS H. CARHART, 57th U. S. C. Infy., Supt. and Provost Marshal, Camden.

7th. Capt. JOHN R. MONTGOMERY, 83d U. S. C. Infy., Supt. and Provost Marshal, Washington.

8th. Capt. E. G. BARKER, 113th U. S. C. Infy., Supt. and Provost Marshal, Monticello.

9th. Capt. A. W. BALLARD, 113th U. S. C. Infy., Supt. and Provost Marshal, Paraclifta.

Superintendents will forward all required reports to the General Superintendent at Little Rock.
