HEADQUARTERS, DISTRICT OF THE CHATTAHOOCHIE MACON, GA, October 13th, 1866. SPECIAL ORDERS, No. 27. (Extract.) I.–By direction of the Secretary of War, the Main Hospital, at Mobile, Ala., is turned over to Major General Wager Swayne, U.S. Vols., Assistant Commissioner of the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen, and Abandoned Lands, for the use of that Bureau.
