to Coffee County 70 sks [[sacks]] corn, and 500 pounds of bacon 
to Covington County 27 sks corn, and 500 pounds of bacon
to Crenshaw County 149 sks corn, and 500 pounds of bacon
and to individuals in Butler County 199 sacks corn and 345 pounds of bacon. The corn and bacon for the three first named Counties, were weighed here, duly invoiced to the several Agents, and their receipts taken, and filed, together with their orders.

The corn to individual applicants in this County, has been given out in sacks and fractions of sacks, and the bacon in pieces varying, from five (5) to twenty (20) pounds in weight.  

In regard to the Labor system, I consider it successful, where the employers act in good faith with the employes.

As the County poor are supported by the Government and charitable associations the poor law is not enforced. 

The action of Probate Judges under General orders No 3, Current Series from Head Qrs District of Alabama, has been satisfactory

With reference to the Freedmen's schools at this place, I have to state, that they are in a very satisfactory, and flourishing Condition. At their examination on the 28th of June, at which I was present, I was pleased to notice the progress the pupils were making, which reflected credit on their Teachers and themselves,
