I have the honor to submit the following General Report for month of November 1868.
Complaints of a serious nature have nearby ceased to be made. Several applications have been made by colored persons to have crops, the result of their year's work, seized, as it was their belief that it was about to be shipped to distant markets with intent to defraud them of their wages. In several cases attachments have been issued by the civil authorities, when application, which had the desired effect of bringing about a speedy settlement. The general work of the office has been confined to this class of complaints.

The appropriation of $800 for completing Marion School House is expended, excepting about $60. Of the appropriation for Selma School House there
