I have the honor herewith to report the operation of the Bureau R.F. and A.L. in this Sub Dist, for the month ending on the 31st day of May, 1868.

I have observed no change in the labor system, since my last report. I have visited Gadsden, Bain County, and collected a debt of eighty dollars against D.C. Moore, and in favor of Freedmen in Green County Georgia.

In and out of my office, I have superintended twenty four different settlements where Freedmen were interested. I have made arrangements with Legal Council to attend to all cases where Freedmen are interested. Owing to wheat harvest, and the urgent demand for labor, in the Corn and Cotton crop there will be a slight decrease in my school report. I have issued to indigent
