I have the honor to transmit herewith my weekly report 
Nothing of importance to Communicate all is quiet and every thing progressing finely. the Freedmen are giving general Satisfaction planters inform me they (the Freedmen) are doing fully as well if not better than when they wer Slaves. the planters are very backworrd in bringing forward their Contracts for approval. Very Seldome they bring them unless they have got into Some trouble with their employees and wish to enforce their contract. the contracts braught here are usually Satisfactory meeting the requirements of Orders Some few require alterations I can usually alter them to the Satisfaction of th planter
