Dear Beth,

I just received a lovely letter from you on Woman's Building letterhead regarding a meeting that took place on the 11th. I have been out of town and could not have attended that meeting but I could have told you I would not be able to make it if the letter letter had arrived before my departure on the 28th of June.

I called you at the number on the letter in order to find out what took place at the meeting and when there was no answer thought that you were possible out of town.

I am delighted that the California Council for the Humanities in Public Policy has offered us money and am concerned what we would do with the sum they offered. Is there a trimmed version that is possible that is of interest to your? I feel the Woman's Building - women and med in the LA community - would have much to gain from receiving information regarding the conditions and contribution os diverse women's organizations in our city'sthat I would like whatever information is gettable with $5,238 and did not strain the participants in terms of supplying feminist energy in place of the monies we did not get. What are your thoughts? plans?

In addition I have a question regarding resources for a project I plan to do - do angain actually but on a larger longer scale. Last year I taught a class at the Woman's Building similar to one I taught at the school of Architecture at UCBerkeley.
