PRINTING MADE EASY

The Woman's Building is pleased to present a class in the fundamentals of letterpress printing. The class will meet 1727 North Spring Street in downtown Los Angeles on April 12, 19, 26 and on May 3, from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. The fee is $40.00.
From typesetting, to locking up, to printing on the Chandler and Price Platen Press, participants will learn the basic skills necessary to complete a small project on their own.
The class is being taught by Bonnie Thompson Norman, Studio Director at the Woman's Building. She has had extensive experience as a letterpress printer and is proprietor of the Windowpane Press.
The Woman's Building is a public center dedicated to the presentation of women's creative accomplishments. Founded in 1973, it is the oldest independent feminist cultural institution in the world.
