Listing

Standard Listing –– Includes your gallery's name, address, telephone, regular hours, current exhibition(s), gallery emphasis, artists represented, name of gallery director, and map listing.
You receive 50 copies of each issue.

Budget Listing –– Includes your gallery's name, address, telephone, regular hours, emphasis and map notation.
You receive 25 copies of each issue.

Service and Supply Listing –– For businesses providing services and supplies to the art community. Business name, emphasis, address, hours, and telephone number are included. Map placement is not available.
You receive 30 copies of each issue.

Maps

A regional map covering Los Angeles and Orange Counties is placed at the centerfold of each issue. Area maps are also provided to pinpoint gallery clusters, and are placed with appropriate area sections.

ARTSCENE provides Southern California galleries with the access to a broad and varied visual arts audience. Each issue, ArtScene reaches the local art audience, arts professionals, out-of-town visitors, students –– just about everyone with an active interest in visual art who happens to be in Southern California. Good public relations, good art, good information and good commentary add up to your best public promotional investment.


Question and Answer

How often do you publish, and when?
–– Monthly, except for August. ArtScene appears at the beginning of every month.

What's your distribution?
–– 10,000 per issue. To: participating galleries (50 or 25, depending on your type of listing), museums, schools, service & supply outlets, as well as hotels, the L.A. Convention Bureau centers, live theaters, restaurants, and subscribers.

When are your deadlines?
–– Approximately 3 weeks before the end of each month. Exact dates are specified on reservation cards provided.

And if I need to cancel?
–– By the 15th of the month prior to publication.

How do I handle this reservation card?
–– Type in the requested information on both sides. This will be about a five-minute task. Put it in our postage-paid envelope, and drop it in the mail.

And display advertising?
–– A separate card is provided as well. Please request one. Complete information is inside this brochure.

What will it cost me?
–– As little as $30 per month, or our standard gallery listing at $50 per month. Complete information is inside. Our aim is to give attentive service to all participating galleries and to provide Southern California with a high quality publication covering the special world of visual art.
