Dear Mother,

We are having a cool spell these days, and I am wearing pants a bit (almost every woman does). It is good to have such a long cool spring.

PHP provided tickets to a very good musical last Thursday, one of the best I have seen in a long time. I shall make it a regular feature to go to the theatre every Thursday now. We hardly ever see anything poor.

Not much is going on here. Just the usual grind. I shall write a follow-up letter to the college asking them about my admission next week, on the advice of a friend who has been through the program.

The cable TV strike is finally over + I shall have my set repaired Tuesday morning (free, of course). I won't have to stay home, the super will let them in.

That's about all-

Love,
Doris
