Dr. L. M. Waugh,
Columbia University,
New York's City.

My dear Dr. Waugh:
In reply to your inquiry of September 14th, I am glad to recommend Dr. W. C. Fleming, in the Medical Building, Oakland, California, to you as a man well fitted to treat the case of Lieutenant MacLean, who needs periodontia.

As for the men who are on the Coast Guard Cutter North-land, I would suggest a couple of the younger men, who I believe, would do honest work. These men graduated two years ago and were very responsible as students and have maintained their standards since beginning practice. I have written them regarding the matter.

Dr. C. M. Ulrich,
Wakefield Building,
Oakland, Calif.

Dr. L. L. Yater,
624 Franklin Street,
Oakland, Calif.

I heard of your proposed journey several months ago and hoped that you might come one way or the other by San Francisco so that we might have the pleasure of your company.

Very truly yours,
Signed GUY S. MILLBERRY
