Dear Dr. Waugh:

The enclosed pictures were selected by the New York Times for possible use and I am returning them to you for the proper titles.

The [[crossed out]] eidot [[/crossed out]] editor is anxious to have a couple of additional pictures whichillustrate more graphically the purpose of your trip - the study of teeth. I told him you were awaiting a box of pictures which might contain what he wanted and he suggested waiting until he could see them all in order to get the best illustrations.
If you haven't something [[letter crossed out]] showing more dentistry, it occurs to me that a picture might be taken of youat Columbia examining the skulls or jaws of primitive Eskimos showing perfect teeth.

When do you expect to receive the additional photographs?

The Times will want the negatives to use.

Sincerely,
Oliver Hoyem

Oliver Hoyem.
