Dr. Leuman M. Waugh
576 Fifth Avenue,
New York, N.Y.

Dear Waugh:

Regarding the list of men sent me, I know of no reason why any of them should be rejected. In the making this statement, I must confess that I don't know any of them particularly well.

As I see the matter, now, and as far as one can view the future, I would say the week beginning November 17th, would be a very good time to start the course. This will be at the end of the rush which we all have in September getting the children off to school, and before the Christmas rush starts. It would also give the men time to get back for Thanksgiving.

The sending out of notices I shall discuss with you when I see you in New York.

You will, in a few days, receive a copy of my feeble effort for the state meeting. It is far from satisfactory to me.

Looking forward to seeing you in New York, I remain

Yours sincerely,
Mershon
