November 28, 1934. IN REPLYING REFER TO BG

Mr. C. F. Chapman, Editor,
Motor Boating,
57th St. at 8th Avenue,
New York City.

Dear Chap:
I thoroughly appreciate the spirit in which you wrote your letter of Nov. 23 relative to Dr. L. M. Waugh's trip to Alaska. Under ordinary circumstances I would not hesitate for one second to recommend our stern drives, but this I consider, as you also do, an extraordinary circumstance.
We are giving careful consideration and I will write you further on this matter as soon as I can determine definitely whether or not we can conscientiously sell Dr. Waugh, under the circumstances, one of our stern drives. Thank you very much for the consideration that you have shown us in this matter.
With my best regards, believe me,
Sincerely yours,
Ben.
