all over the house was old & should be new wires put on. he said he knew Sidney he had wired his house for him. I found among my pieces some remnants & have made them up into little aprons which I will send them along for xmas [[Xmas]] & you can keep them or do what you like with them there were enough for four aprons the big one was made from a new pattern different from anything you have ever seen before & guess its generally liked. I am not making any xmas [[Xmas]] presents this year. everything is too scarce & high priced so dont send anything if you do it will make me feel sensetive [[sensitive]].

The family who bought the house where the Ballantines lived are not coming here this winter they own a store down in Florida & have had their water hose turned off so it will stand empty this winter they are Catholics Mrs Ballantine said, I never heard the name. I wish the house had never built Those trees over to the old place were cut down yesterday but I dont know whether they are going to carry away the wood  yours Ma
