Dear Doris

Cool & sunny a good day to dry our clothes but it has just clouded up a bit. We have nice weather still & moon all night
Doris came out late around five O'clock. I had given her up & eaten my supper as I was not very hungry & didn't care for baked beans so she & Mrs Barry ate at 6 O'clock. Afterwords, she went over to see Maude just before I went off to bed. She called up the library as she wanted to renew the library book & felt too tired to go down town after supper.
Mr Turner came up & they set out the little trees after putting tarred paper around them. the select men have put little paper notices on those trees you wanted them to cut down. so you wont have to give them any father notices. Mr Turner brought me a lovely boquet of Chrysanthemums & they were lovely all colors. he must be very fond of flowers. he & Doris mowed with a sythe some of the dried up
