father she thinks so much of me. we took care of Abbie Joel in her last sickness & she worshiped Elsie we hated to see her die. Mildred is so Stout more like Mystie they stayed about an hour I think Myrtie would like to go up to Vermont & live - she & - Alice never got along together. Alice is a good teacher thats her vocation. nobody could live with her & I guess the same would be impossible to live with Myrtie. I suppose you miss Doris. its a pity she is so far away I think she is getting used to her studies & it will be good for her. she seemed very quiet while she was here but worked & studied all the time. 

The family have not moved into the Ballantines yet it seems lone some not to see their lights there at night but we dread having strangers in there.
