Stoughton October 27th 1946

We are having a pleasant week end & very nice warm weather, for the time of the year.
Doris came out this week end, she was loaded down with things. she ought not to bring the food stuff, her heavy bag is too much for her to carry. we get things cheaper where we trade, she is now in the bath room washing her hair. her clothes were on the line drying sheet, nightie & towels, I dont see how she manages to do them & be so still. we alway [[always]] sleep late Sunday morning she said she slept good through the night but got up early she had so much to do. I guess her studies are awful boring, she has so many tests, so she shant [[shan't]] forget what she learns the week before. I saved all the letters you had written for her to read
