Dear Doris
We are having cool days in the seventies all last weeks so far this no rain vegetation seems to be drying up. I water my tomatoe plants twice a day they have just begun to blossom, they dont have much sun Mrs Barry dont know where she is going for her vacation yet. she cant afford to pay out much. since she lost her billfold she feels poor. this afternoon she has gone to the moving pictures Winnie took her down & will bring her back she is very good to her they are taking comfort over there, as young Edith & family are on a vacation for a few weeks, she wants to find a tenement she is going to have another baby. & they are awful cramped in that little house. this child has been an awful cross one you could hear it cry all over the neighborhood but is growing better the older she grows. no body likes young Edith but Richard is a little gentleman & knows more than any body thinks he does. they have
