Dear Sir,
I have just seen Mr Whipple & Prof Woodbury together & if I understand them they have released what claim they had upon the 2d Baptist church field to the Presbyterians I believe, and agree to leave the Chimborazo field to us.

We gladly accept your proposition to take our four teachers upon the plan of dividing equally the expenses of the establishment. If you think it best to have us take the whole of the Chimborazo field & add two more teachers could you keep them, we paying the additional proportionate expenses.

Of course you can have Misses Cook & Campbell & Miss Cooks sister too, all excellent teachers & modest, & if we can find [[strikethrough]] th [[/strikethrough]] two or three more of a like character you can have them. Please say what day you want them &
