Dear Sir:
On last Wednesday when we shipped the box of books to Col. O. Brown, for J.W. Shoemaker, (of which I sent you a bill of lading) we by accident omitted to forwarded at the same time a box of slates. On Saturday last we forwarded it to him per Str. Norfolk, care of Col. O. Brown. Please do us the kindness to have this forwarded to Mr. Shoemaker at Lynchburg and much oblide,
