have 2 or 3 lectures, &  some discussion, & the topics for discussion ought to be chosen & announced on the circulars.  If families can be found who will receive teachers into their [[strikethrough]] families [[/strikethrough]] houses & entertain them as we do at the north it would help us increase the public interest in the meeting, & the teachers would do much to increase the interest of the people in education.  I believe this can be done if it is managed rightly, & think the edition of the Republic would help this matter on.  We must make the meeting a success, & we away down here will do all that we can.
