To Chaplain R. M. Manly

Dear Friend

I enclose the letters kindly sent me in reply to mine asking about schools -
Our Ladies have decided to open a normal school in Nashville, where we have some work and circumstances favour the undertaking greatly.

Thanking thee for thy promptness in sending the information, and only regretting that we cannot as promptly furnish teachers I am

very truly thy friend
