R M. Manly

Dear Sir-
I herewith enclose plans for Minder building substantially as agreed upon with Mr Hawkins - Nos 1, & 2 - are for the building to stand across the West end of lot next the alley - to be when completed 34 1/3 x 56 ft - four sch rooms. with separate halls for girls & boys - and cloak & hat rooms respectively - It may be found advisable to make lower entries wider.

I think you may consider yourself at liberty to make any important changes in the plan - that do not change the general result. In No 4. it may be best to put classroom on the other side of the house - This room is for two teachers. You will percieve that only 106 ft of the building will be re-erected - Several of the rooms on Nos. 3 & 4 will not be required for the regular work of school soon. Truly yrs C Thurston Chase
