I am writing to you at home, away from my memoranda; but I believe this is all I have to say to you to-day about arrangements. We are in full blast at 8 Studies again after rest, and making winter arrangements for schools from Md. to Georgia. We shall send 30 Teachers to Md. on the 25th inst. Tomorrow we dispatch Mr Pratt again on a reconnaissance through the 4th District Va. to ascertain what the people at the various points he visited in July, are prepared to do with respect to assisting schools, which we shall open, or re-open, the first of Oct. He will continue in some central place there, as our Suptdt for that District.
