I asked you very particularly whether these quarters should be at in the Dwelling House or whether we were liable to be placed anywhere as the "Freedmens' Aid" might decide, and that your answer was that we should have quarters in the dwelling house. On this we have acted. 

Mr. Hale has told them he proposes to send teachers enough to fill, or nearly fill, the dwelling house. 
Miss Stevenson claims that "they meant the dwelling house for themselves, that they are not obliged to furnish quarters to us at all, &c."
