Mr. R.M. Manly,

Dear Sir,
We have received yours of the 20th. We thank you for the information you give us, & will defer sending our teachers - one week longer than we intended, because the rooms will not be ready before Oct 8th, & another week on account of the unhealthiness. We do not, of course, wish to expose them to cholera. So they will go in time to open school, Oct. 15th They will leave here on Wednesday of the week previous, Oct. 10th unless we hear from you that it will not be safe for them to come.

Very truly yrs. H. E. Stevenson
