Mr Woolfolk writes me that there is fair prospect of a Branch Loc. to N E F A L. being formed in Richmond. It would be a stroke for the advantage of the Freed people every where. In many places in the 4th Dist. they complain of having to pay for their books; not because the cannot, but because they expect all Northern help to be free to them. We could not harm them more than to encourage such ideas. 
As in the relative stationing as Teachers of those whom we send to you, I suppose Mr Woolfolk's to be strictly Primary-
Miss Canedy is as good a teacher as we can furnish, & all the ladies will consider that the most advanced class belongs
