Mr Manly

Dear Sir,
Yours received. I should have answered at once but for your promise to meet me soon in connexion with our work. I write now to know if there is likely to be a delay regarding payment of rents, as the people are now asking for the same, if so, I wish to make other provision.

Our schools are in good condition progressively. & numerically. I am now however holding out no inducements to increase our numbers, until the rent & other questions are settled.

If you can make it convenient to visit our schools on any Friday you will find them all assembled in the Bute St. Poplist Church (Col'd). for examination &c.

Hoping to hear from you by return. I am
Yours Truly
Ada W. Smith.
"E Com."
