Dear Sir
Having sent you a report of my school at this place I wish [[strikethrough]] you [[/strikethrough]] to write you some particulars regarding it - not to be so public as the report.
Genl Armstrong, in the name, and for the aid of others; sent in the Spring to know if the Soldiers Memorial Society of Boston would open a school here, as it was much needed. The Society had no means to do this - but I knowing the position well, took the appeal and presented it to a friend - who soon sent me word that he with a few other persons
