My dear Sir,
We learn from Miss Foster, that the school rooms occupied by our teachers in Richmond are basement - damp and unhealthy and disagreeable. Some of the teachers have complained Miss F. says they do not like to, but we feel a deep solicitude that nothing in their home or the scene of their daily toil, be neglected, which can contribute to their health + comfort and usefulness. We know it is only needful to suggest to you the fact. Will you take such measures, or so advise us as that this evil if it exists shall be remedied?
