Dear Mr Manly;
Your letter was duly rec'd. No action respecting the Richmond property was taken by our Board yesterday, & those of us who propose to continue the work do not wish to be dispossessed of it until after another year. The Ladies wish me to say that they propose to send Seven Teachers to Richmond, four to Alexandria, two to Lawrenceville & one to Pocahontas - pay-school - & if possible to continue Mr Lazenby's salary at Emmans. I do not find the Deed of the property. Perhaps it is still in the Record office. If so, please send it to me - if not, please have an official copy made from the record at our expenses & forward it as early as possible.
