I have the honor to call your attention to a letter of Robert J. Allen, Esqr. of Marysvile Blount Co., Tenn. regarding the child of Mr. Robert Bryant, now in the family of "Easom's" at Jeffersonton, Ky. referred to you from this office by endorsement dated May 22nd, 1868. and to request information as to the circumstances of the case, and what action, if any, has been or can be taken by the Bureau to restore the child to its father. 
As Mr. Allen is now in this City for a short time and deserves to be informed regarding the case, an early reply is respectfully requested.
