Arrington Heights
June 2nd 69
Mr R.M. Manly

Sir -
My report which has preceded this letter will furnish you with the requisite information. But I will add, that it has been through my efforts that we have a School-House built. I have otherwise labored with the Freedmen here since January last, without any compensation from any source - We need help - our particular case appeals to your notice for Bureau favors. If the power leies in you to act -
I am very respectfully
Your humble servant

Pardon my working material
