Piny Grove. June 2nd 1869

Mr Manly

I now send you the reports for the month of June. My school closed today. I shall give one week's vacation, and then I will open my school again, and teach another term of five months, if it can get sufficient aid and the weather will admit I have concluded to open Sabbath School, but have not the means that it requires. You would oblige me very much if you would send me some Sunday School books & some easy catechisms for instructing new beginners. The owner of the Schoolhouse says that you would oblige him very much, by sending him the rent for the months of February, March, April & June, for it is very much needed at the present time
