the school; said he could board the smallest ones in the neighborhood; and send the others every day or so, as he could space them. This farm is near the line of Carolina and and King Wm; and the church, (Mangolia), is in King Wm, Co; The members,  affirm, that we can easily raise, between HO and 40 scholars; and they wish a night school, and perfectly willing to pay board of teacher; and aid the school in every way possible. They need a good Bible for the pulpit, and I believe they would be truly grateful, for any assistance you might be so kind as to sendes in aid of the church, or school.
If you send me to this church, I want you to come down in the commencement of the school, and address them on the subject of their duties. It will assist me greatly, in this large field of labor.
Please address Wm Mazfield; (Cold) Mangohic P.O. King Wm Co. Va. Mr Crocket will commence his school in a week or two; he shares much influence among the freedpeople.
Think I shall start this afternoon for Richmond, and call to see you tomorrow or next day.
