R. M. Manly, Eng.
Hon. Sir. I received your very kind letter, with five dollars inclosed. For this accommodation I am under many obligations to you.
Will you please send me a package of Arithmetic's Geography's and also a package of second readers immediately if you please. The prospect of the school is very promising in deed.
Yours Truly
A. W. Childs
Mr. Manly, please send me some more spelling books as I think that I will have 45 or 50 pupils in the month of August.
